I would have two set ups. Defensive and Offensive.
Defensive:
Martin
Fredericks Balbuena Ogbonna Diop Masuaku
Antonio Noble Rice Anderson
Haller
Offensive:
Martin
Balbuena Ogbonna Diop
Rice
Noble
Fredericks Antonio Haller Anderson Masuaku
It relies on the players being well drilled. And switching formations instantly. It also relies on the wing backs being fit and able to get up and down. Rice sits in to cover a break away and Noble sits in front anchoring the possession and probing. If we attack on the counter then there should be enough bodies to make it count.
I also think that if the opponent counters then with Noble sitting slightly behind the our attack and with Antonio's pace and energy to get back and with Rice already there we should have enough to cope.
I am not saying its right. I just think MP needs to change it up and utilise what we have. You can't keep doing what you are doing and not getting results. Its the first sign of madness.

miike - Yep, I have no doubt it will be a so called safe pair of hands until at least the summer. This 1 more game balony is utter nonsense, so what if we get a result on saturday, it's clear now that we are going nowhere under Pellegrini and he has to go. The obvious question to ask is why hasn't he gone yet, but I guess we know the answer(s) to that.

Russ - if Anderson pushes forward and can have a go thats a decent side - if not try Holland instead - about time he got a decent chance

manuel, I stuck by him and defended him for quite a while but when a manager doesn't help himself, it's hard to see it turn round. the problem is, I have no faith at all in them employing someone better. the problem with them going down the yesman/lapdog route again is I think the division this season is tougher than in previous season's and I don't see many easy points available any time soon
